DINER CUISINE: MENU

PROJECT PREMISE
Develop a thematic menu that would act as a companion piece to the Diner Cuisine cook book.

The illustrations were created in Adobe Illustrator. The layouts were made in Adobe InDesign. 


SUMMARY
The overall design for the menu and insert echo the design of the Diner Cuisine cook book. A custom logo for the restaurant was created specifically for use on the cover of the menu and on the front of the insert. The additional information on the cover of the menu include a critic's opinion, hours of operation, and contact information — standard fare for eatery menus.

The inside of the menu is broken up into four sections: breakfast, lunch, dinner, and desserts. The four sections list three dishes that are available to order along with a description of the dish and the cost of the dish. A banner of all the food available to order is used as a central graphic that cuts across the entire spread and acts as a divider on the page.

The backside of the menu has two sections for drinks and sides. In addition, there is a store promotion and social media announcement which closes out the menu.
