PROJECT PREMISE
I re-branded my personal logo and wanted to further develop my new brand with stationary and various merchandise designs.
TOOLS USED
The "sword & shield" symbol used in my brand logo was created in Adobe Illustrator. The layouts for the designs were made in Adobe InDesign.
SUMMARY
The concept of the "sword & shield" stems from my desire to utilize my skillset and expertise as a designer/illustrator. I wanted to channel the confidence I have in myself as a source of strength and defense — into my re-branded personal logo. The symbol - typographic relationship in my new logo displays the desired strength and resolve that is synonymous with my passion for design.
The stationary and business card designs boast a professional aesthetic and are standard fare in my deliverable repertoire. Whereas, the merch designs (stickers and mugs) were more fun, and casual in nature.
Once the new logo was done, I began working on the stationary (include invoice and mailer designs), business cards, stickers, and mug designs.
